We are proud to offer for sale this absolutely stunning 1960, UK delivered Porsche 356 BT5 Coupe. This is not a restored car, but a car that has been beautifully preserved for nearly half a century. One of the best rust free examples we have ever seen!
Chassis number 114367 was completed at Stuttgart, Zuffenhausen in November 1960 and supplied new as a Right Hand Drive model via AFN Limited, Isleworth. It was original presented with Aetna Blue (6003) body colour and black leatherette interior, this scheme still current on the car.
Registered in the UK in December 1960, the car remained in England until the mid seventies when upon the car was relocated to Arizona. The car remained in the US through to the mid eighties when Porsche specialist Roger Bray purchased the car and brought it back to the UK. Roger has gone on record as describing this particular 356 as “in unbelievable rust free condition, one of the best examples I have ever seen”. In 1990 the car then found a long-term home in the ownership of Mr. Webster who has owned the car for 19 years. During that period it has been meticulously maintained by Porsche specialists, with a large file of services records, MOT’s and maintenance receipts.
The panels are all matching to the chassis number and there is no rust on the car anywhere. The car retains all factory gaps which are absolutely amazing, the door gaps are perfect as is the bonnet and engine lid gap. The door bottoms are perfect as is the floors, longdititionals, battery box and all closing panels. All these metal parts are all factory original. They have never been replaced before and are in absolute perfect condition.
This car is one of the most original 356’s we have ever seen and represents a rare opportunity to acquire a completely unmolested Porsche 356 BT5 Coupe, in outstanding original condition throughout.
UK registered with MOT and historic vehicle tax status, ready for immediate use.
