It was a great trip out in the Cotswolds with fellow Export 56’ers Ben, Mark, Nick, Andrew and me (Mick).
A lovely variety of Porsche cars left Newport Pagnell on a chilly December morning.
From our own 1958 356 A, Marks super rare 3.0 Carrera Sport, Andrews ‘roof down’ 3.2 Carrera and Nicks 1972, 911 2.4T.
Our umpteen course lunch at the Lower Slaughter Manor restaurant, saw to it that the strength (or lack thereof) of our vintage headlights were put to the test.
No trip to the Cotswolds is done correctly without a journey home in the dark.
Thankfully we all got home safely, some quicker than others, to live another day.
We’ll be giving a heads up of our next road trip, everyone is welcome to join us, keep checking our Export56 Instagram for details.
