Porsche 356A Carrera 1500 GS ‘Sunroof’ Coupe RHD
Export 56 are proud to offer this extremely rare and important Right Hand Drive, 356A Carrera 1500 GS Sunroof Coupe. It is thought that as few as ten or eleven 356A Carreras were built to RHD specification, of which barely half are thought to survive today.
Chassis no 102210 was manufactured by the Porsche factory in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen in November 1957 and left the factory with the following specification:
Engine number: 90914 Type 547/1(Four-cam)
Gearbox number: 17163 (Gear ratios BBAB)
Colour: Silver metallic (5706)
Interior: Green leatherette
Optional Equipment: Right Hand Drive, sunroof, chrome centre locking (Rudge) wheels, speedometer in miles, safety belts, 2 headlight grills (removeable), “Ponti-Stabli” mirror and corduroy linen Bag.
