We are proud to offer for sale this very rare and important 1966, RHD Porsche 911S. This is not a restored car, but a car that has been beautifully preserved for over 40 years. Matching numbers with mostly all of her original body panels and only 41,309 miles she is in truly remarkable condition.
Porsche launched the ‘S’ model at the Geneva Salon in September of 1966. We understand that AFN ordered three cars for customer use – the press car (LYY 911D) was ordered for delivery in October. In addition three further cars LYV 9D, LYV 10D, and LYV 11D were delivered and registered on the 9th September 1966.
Chassis # 305481S left the factory in 1966 and was original presented with Aga blue (6608) body colour and Black Leatherette interior, this scheme still current on the car. The car underwent very light renovation at Autofarm in the early 90’s and still retains all of the precious and irreplaceable details including; deco trims on the rear trim panels, correctly detailed 4.5 inch Fuchs, Webber ‘S’ stamped IDA carbs, passenger head restraint and bonnet badge
This well known car has been featured in several specialist magazines including Total 911, Octane, Classic & Sportscar etc. Several CD’s of the photo shoots and the original magazines are supplied with the history file.
