The 3.2 Carrera for sale was registered in the UK in 1987 – This model was fitted with the G50 gearbox, together with a larger, hydraulically operated clutch. Rear fog lamps now integrated with reflective rear panel, front lyres increased in size to 195/65VR15.
The body restoration has been carried out by in workshop and used original factory parts has included, replacement floor pans through to front section, sills (inner and outer) front wings, rear quarters, doors, bumpers, front and rear panel slam panels. The interior has been re-trimmed including new headlining, carpets and rear panels. The front and rear seats are original black and white dogtooth and were in exceptional condition as were both door panels. All rubber seals have been replaced and all brightwork has been stripped and rechromed. Light units and lenses have been replaced with new original Porsche stock and 2 new batteries have been fitted. The original 6 x 15 Fuchs alloy wheels and centre caps have been stripped, polished and painted then fitted with new Michelin tyres (including spare). The car has been mechanically overhauled and has just undergone a complete service.
We have personally owned and restored this car. It is in stunning condition both cosmetically and mechanically. I would encourage any interested party to come to and personally inspect and drive this vehicle – There are no known defects with this car.
This car may be gorgeous to look but Porsches are built to be driven. This 911E provides a very refined driving experience and gives the driver a very “in touch with the road” experience. This car must be driven to be appreciated.
