Welcome to Monaco…
We start with a flight to Nice before making our way to the Principality and the Columbus Hotel. This ‘biennial’ event takes place two weeks before the Grand Prix de Monaco de Formule 1 – but for us it’s much more appealing to watch the racecars from yesteryear pounding around the circuit.
Therefore, we’ve decided to organise a trip for the 2020 event for some of our clients and friends that will include Hospitality for the event – and a magnificent drive in your own Porsche afterwards! This will be a week you won’t forget.
We will transport your classic Porsche to the French Riviera and you will get the chance to drive on some of the most incredible roads in Europe before reaching Lake Geneva where they will be transported back to the UK whilst we fly back.

ITINERARY:
MONACO HISTORIC GRAND PRIX
8 – 10 MAY 2020
We are staying in the Columbus hotel in Monaco. We will meet the Transporter before driving into Monaco so that we have the cars with us – but you won’t really need them for the next few days. This weekend, we are going to enjoy watching others drive whilst we sip champagne on the Hospitality Terrace!
Our Hospitality is located on the Start Line at the Heracles Palace. This rooftop terrace has cover and is themed with a period style. Set-up is luxurious and you’ll be overlooking the Royal Box with panoramic views of the Harbour and 60% of the actual track.
There’s live music, fine gourmet catering, open bar all serviced by dedicated waitresses, waiters and chef’s.
Relax and enjoy the racing for two days…
Drive Day 1:
11 MAY 2020
Distance: 275km. Time: 6 hours.
Today we leave the champagne bubble that is Monaco and head inland towards one of the finest driving roads on the planet – the Col de Turini. Still part of the World Rally Championship and Historic Monte Carlo Rally, this road will set the bar. It’ll be a welcome change to be back behind the wheel of your Porsche and the roads you enjoy today will stay with you forever!
We might just have a little surprise stop before we set off though – where we will get up close to historic Porsche racecar royalty – but you’ll have to wait until the day to find out.
Col de Turini and the Col de la Bonette followed by Ravin de la Grosee Combe. Driving nirvana that will end up at Château de Picomtal.
Drive Day 2:
12 MAY 2020
Distance: 350km. Time: 7 hours.
Today we make sure that we drive even better roads! But it’s a prompt start as we have 350km to drive.
Breakfast at 7.30am; departure for 8.30am.
Today’s list of roads reads like this – Route Napoleon, Col du Galiber, Col de l’Iseran and the Little St. Bernard Pass.
Today will be a good day. Route Napoleon is very long as it’s the route that Napoleon took through the mountains to avoid capture (hence the name!), so we only dip in to experience some of the better roads before we head towards Italy and the Col du Galiber.
The views are stunning; the roads even better. Tonight we stay at the end of the Little St.Bernard Pass in the Le Grand Massif hotel.
Drive Day 3:
13 MAY 2020
Distance: 250km. Time: 6 hours.
All good things must come to an end and today is our last day of driving. But don’t be sad, we’ve made sure it’s a fabulous day with great roads! We jump back on the Little St.Bernard Pass to exit Italy and start making our way to Switzerland.
From the Little St. Bernard Pass we circle around Mont Blanc on Cormet de Roselend, then on to Megeve and La Baume before we arrive at Lake Geneva and the stunning Mandarin Oriental hotel. Tonight we also bid farewell to our cars, which will be loaded back on to a transporter and taken back to Export56 HQ. You will avoid the boring autoroutes, simply jumping on a plane from Geneva back to the UK.
