Export 56 were delighted to attend the Targa Florio Classica in 2023 with a very special car.
The famous road race in Sicily runs from the 12-15 October 2023 with over 150 classic cars attending from all over Europe! Export 56 prepared, ran and supported several rather special Classic Porsche’s including a wonderfully original 911 S/T with a very special connection to this famous road race.
Our 911 S/T was celebrating its 50th year anniversary since its class win at the Targa Florio back in 1973. This original M491 optioned car is one of the most original race Porsche 911’s in the world! The car competed in numerous races, rallies and hill climbs in Italy during the 70s, 80’s and 90’s. Miraculously the car never crashed and retains all of its originality including a completely undamaged bodyshell, fibreglass panels, plexiglass windows and original interior.
All of our cars performed faultlessly and the S/T was the celebrated car of the event making its 3rd appearance at this famous race.
