Welcome to ‘Ben’s Flat Six’ the January 2017 edition.
This is my pick of the pack of classic Porsche cars and Porsche related stuff from around the world. Mostly cars that are for sale or going under the hammer very soon but every now and then I’ll throw in something special.
1. 1974 Porsche 911 2.7 MFI
Check out this beautiful ‘Bitter Chocolate and Cinnamon’, 1974 Porsche 911 2.7 MFI for sale (previously at £229,995) – The Octane Collection.
“With nearly identical performance as the 1973 Carrera RS in Touring trim, the 1974 Carrera 2.7 MFI is said to have been the quickest normally aspirated road 911 produced until the late 1980s…”

Bitter Chocolate, Cinnamon and Gold
2. 1977 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 Coupe
This ‘lot 4’ a 1977 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 Coupe under the hammer at the Scotsdale auction in January with Bonhams – You’ll be needing between £81 – £12oK. Update – This bad boy went for a steal at US$ 60,500 (£48,723) inc. premium
3. 1977 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 Coupe
Or, if a very rare, UK car is what you’re after then our (very, very rare), very collectable Minerva Blue 3.0 supersport is for sale – isn’t she a beauty.
4. 1972 Porsche 911 2.4T Coupe
Really enjoying this lovely little restored Light Yellow (6262) ‘T’. Going under the hammer in February with our very good friends at Silverstone Auctions – love the number plate. Update 28/02/2017 – This beauty sold for £93k
5. 1978 Porsche 911 ‘G’ Safari
This mad-as-a-box-of-frogs 911 ‘G’ Safari caught our eye trending as it was on Classic Driver this month. When the guys over at Carconnex in Belgium say, “This car is in good condition and ready for go…” we believe them. Click the image for a 911 and Porsche World article.

That’s it from me, more next month… happy Porsche hunting.
Ps. please let me know if you find special anything worth mentioning, I’ll be happy to give it mention or if I’ve not credited an image correctly, also let me know. I’ll be returning to provide updates on any sales periodically.
